UNPARALLELED EXPERIENCE

A team of dedicated engineers who have been working in the oil & gas industry for over 30 years developed DEXPro’s™ technology. The team has significant expertise in technical and management aspects of O&G businesses and has been involved in a large portion of acid gas injection and CCUS projects in Alberta. DEXPro™ started in the acid gas injection field in 2010 and has built strong rapport around the world.

COMPREHENSIVE EXPERTISE

The DEXPro™ and GLE team has comprehensive expertise in Acid Gas Injection. This team contributed to over 50 articles and technical papers about acid gas and CO2 behaviour, facility design, and injection operations. Wayne McKay

President

Mr. Wayne McKay is the president and founder of DEXPro™ Canada. For over 35 years, Wayne has provided expert advice, training, and design consulting services in the area of acid gas injection, gas dehydration, hydrocarbon recovery, EOR solutions, CO2 distribution, and Carbon capture & Sequestration (CCS). Wayne has two patents, has been published in the Carbon Capture Journal, and has been a speaker at conferences in Canada and the United States sponsored by organizations such as EPRI, DOE, NACE, the Conference on Carbon Capture and Sequestration, GPA, and OTC.

Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with extensive experience in the oil & gas industry including drilling, completions, production operations, process engineering, and project management. He has held various positions including Senior Project Manager, Vice President of Engineering, and is a Senior Advisor with Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd.

Vaughn Hansen

Vice President, Engineering & Operations

Vaughn Hansen, P.Eng. is the VP of Engineering and Operations and a Principal of DEXPro™ Canada. He has 30 years of industry experience in the oil and gas industry in Acid Gas Injection, Carbon Capture and Sequestration, Gas Plants, Oil Batteries, and pipelines for green and brown field projects in Canada, the United States, Cuba, and Australia.

Vaughn has been involved in almost every aspect of the development of the DexPro™ process from design to installation and startup. Clients benefit from his broad range of knowledge in project management, process engineering, controls, design, fabrication, commissioning/startup, and troubleshooting.

Brent Patton

Vice President, Business Development

Brent Patton (ENT, Mstr. Elect.), is Vice President of Business Development and a Principal of DexPro™ Canada. With over 20 years of experience in business development, Brent’s role is to develop marketing strategies, build relationships, and new business opportunities around the world.

Since joining the DexPro™ team in 2011, Brent has been instrumental in securing several major projects in Canada, the United States, and Australia. Leading the business development team within DexPro™, Brent is focused on the strategy and development of innovative solutions for our customers. Brent takes much pride in building lifelong relationships with clients, and enjoys getting to know each person he works with both professionally and personally.
